The new-look website
For those familiar with theRokerEnd.com, welcome back. For those new to the website, thanks for visiting.
Our aim for the new format is to keep all the items that were in the original site and to expand the website by adding new features and topical items which will be updated and added to on a regular, weekly basis.
So what exactly is in the new website?
Monty's Guests
Before every home game Monty invites a different former player to come and meet fans and answer questions at the 'Legends Table' in the Black Cats bar. On the Monty's Guest page you will find details of upcoming guests along with a brief biography. Now you don't have an excuse not to come along and meet your favourite former players.
Benno's Brief
Pre-match and post-match analysis from our favourite radio pundit. Listen to what Benno has to say about previous performance, team selection, signings, upcoming games and general feelings from inside the camp.
When we get the chance for Benno to pin down and interview current squad and former players - you will see it here FIRST!
Features
New features on the club and the former players, including our archive of existing articles.
To launch our new website we are proud to include Brian Leng's never-before published interview with the great Charlie Hurley. This is a substantial interview and will appear here in parts over the next few months - don't miss it!
Interviews & Q&A's
Find out what our former players are doing now and what were their best and greatest moments and memories from their Sunderland days.
Events
Upcoming events for former players and guests. Some events are available to the public and all are available to those lucky individuals who put on the famous red and white shirt.
Galleries
We are going to go to town on this section over the coming months. We have literally thousands of images and video of the lads going right back to the early days of the last century. It is going to take a while to get them all arranged but this is where you will find them, starting with the pre-war years.
