Gary and the lads at theRokerEnd.com have teamed up with other Sunderland legends to start hosting a series of events, including the unique and famous quiz nights.

Saturday 10th December 2011 - 11.00am:
Dennis Tueart signing copies of his autobiography,
'My Football Journey' at Waterstones.
Dennis Tueart has just published his autobiography and will be signing copies in Waterstones in Sunderland (The Bridges Shopping Centre) on 10th December at 11.00am.
Whoever can't make it on the day can also order the book from Vision Sports Publishing (see www.visionsp.co.uk for more info) and will be supporting a good cause as Dennis is donating all his royalties to the Young Adult Teen Cancer unit at the famous Christie Cancer hospital in Manchester.
Tuesday 13th December 2011: An evening with the Former Players - from 7.00pm in the Banqueting Suite at the Stadium of Light.
Following the great success of the 2010 'Christmas Cracker Quiz' the Association are delighted to be able to announce they are going to hold a similar event in 2011.
In addition to a Quiz competition the 'Evening...' will again feature comedian Rudi West who performed brilliantly at last year's event as well as a panel of well known former Sunderland players who will answer questions from the audience and pass on stories from their playing days.
The event is again being sponsored by True Colour Digital and as a result we have been able to hold the ticket price to the same level as in 2010 (£20 per person as well as giving a discount of one free place for parties of 10 or more - buy 10 pay for 9). The ticket price includes a reception drink, free entry to the quiz, heads and tails competition and raffle and a hot supper.
Last year's event was a complete sell out - get your order in early to secure your ticket.
